Some pictures are harder to post than others…

After my weight topped 276lbs in October 2018, I went through a series of positive changes in life, both personally and professionally.  I finally made the decision to take control of my eating habits and began a calorie controlled diet called the Cambridge Diet. With a maximum consumption of 1,000 calories a day, I ate 200 calories for breakfast, 200 calories for lunch and 600 calories for dinner along with three liters of water. 

By February 2019, I had lost 56lbs and was excited to start building muscle. After a 16 year hiatus I decided to join a local gym. In my early 20’s, I tore my ACL in my left knee which prompted me to become a regular gym user for the next nine years. I knew what was needed to sculpt my body back into shape. Slowly building muscle and continuing to lose weight by July 2019, I had lost a total of 77lbs and gained 14lbs of muscle. My waist size went from a 44in to a 34in and I lost 6in off my chest.

Because of these changes, I now enjoy running, cycling, longs walks and using the gym more than I had in the past. What an amazing feeling to be able to shop for clothes in every store and not have to beeline to the XXL sizes. I can now look through designer labels without the embarrassment that they don’t have my size. Physically I feel so much better than I have in years and I’m extremely happy with the changes I’ve made to myself.  I truly feel like a new person in the best possible way.
